What We Do
We create community-specific events to connect high schoolers, college students, and professionals from similar backgrounds for authentic conversations. Communities might be anything from athletes to children in military families to those that share the same cultural heritage. Events build upon each other within a series. High schoolers learn from college preparation and student success advisors, current college students and faculty, and working professionals.
High schoolers hear about challenges and hurdles that college students face. College students serve as mentors, while also being mentored by working professionals. While our young professionals are mentoring high school and college students, they’re also being connected to those with more experience. Our goal is that these mentorship pipelines help strengthen the social, cultural, and economic capital of everyone in the community.
